Okay, so, I just saw Spider-Man: No Way Home, and I just wanted to hop on gush about it. Sadly, there’s not even much I can say without getting into spoiler territory, but it’s an astonishing feat of a movie. Seriously, the trailers were literally unable to convey just how miraculous this is.
I’ll just say that it has the usual of any MCU or Spidey movie; heart, humor, and action. The cast has chemistry. I mean, every member of the cast, and it’s a very large cast. It’s truly impressive that the movie doesn’t buckle under the weight of what it’s trying to achieve. I dare say, there are even moments when it begins to feel a bit corny, and you think, “Oh no, this isn’t going to work, it’s going to come apart!” but then the movie immediately rights itself.
The amount of hooting, cheering, and clapping at this movie was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. In this horribly depressing time of pandemic and politics, this is the movie we need at the time; just like we needed Sam Raimi’s first Spider-Man movie back in 2002. I don’t think anything can really prepare you for all the feels.
Go see it as soon as you can before it get spoiled. THWIP!
