I’ll be honest with y’all, I’m not doing too great. The terror I fear of the return of Trump to the White House and the fascist takeover of the country has me up at night, strings of panic attacks, unable to focus, etc. My husband and I (and the country) have been betrayed by the family members who voted him, demonstrating who they really are: people who support insurrection, rape, pedophilia, human trafficking, racism, misogyny, homophobia, and more.

During Trump’s previous presidency, I was only able to keep my sanity by writing my previous book, Maximizing the Impact of Comics in Your Library: Graphic Novels, Manga, and More. So, hopefully I can keep my sanity again this time by writing the second edition, which I am grateful to say Bloomsbury Libraries Unlimited has approved. You’ll see the finished product in 2026.
